Chloe is a huge asset to any team she joins. She has a wide variety of skills; CAD and technical packaging but she also striving to learn more. Chloe takes it upon herself to step up and help everyone no matter the task. She works hard and effectively to meet all deadlines even when they are urgent. In the 3 years of being Chloe’s direct manager, I have seen her skill set, confidence and knowledge grow tremendously. Chloe is skilled in food packaging guidelines, Oeko-tex regulations, packaging regulations, CAD artwork production in home and confectionary products, photography retouching and manuals creations; among a few to list. Chloe’s biggest asset is that she wants to do the best that she can, so she will pull resources in order to complete projects to the best of her ability. Everyone on our team enjoys working with Chloe and are comfortable to ask her for advice or help when they need it. Chloe is great at what she does and getting better by the day.

I would describe Chloe as “the whole package” with great potential for more. I had the pleasure of working with her when she joined the Owned Brands team at HBC in January 2020. We worked closely together on the packaging for HBC’s two heritage brands for well over a year. Despite coming in as a Junior Graphic Designer, she proved as efficient, knowledgeable, and creative as the veterans I’ve worked with in the past. Above all, I was most impressed with her initiative and ability to adapt and learn the ins and outs of the packaging world. On top of all that, she is personable and easy to work with. I often wish she was on my new team every time I am dealing with a packaging issue! Chloe would be a true asset for any position requiring graphic skills and teamwork. Chloe is a dedicated and gifted Graphic Designer with a diverse sense of style. We worked together on a variety of projects. I had the pleasure of teaching Chloe in the York University/Sheridan College Program in Design. I worked with Chloe in an Interaction Design course as well as directing her 4th year Graduation Showcase. She has an impressive aptitude and keen interest in applying design principles across many forms and platforms including but not limited to print, interactivity, motion, objects and spaces.

She has a deep commitment to graphic design practice and is rigorous in her approach to design process and achieving a high level of craftsmanship in execution. Chloe is very well grounded in design principles, including various modes of image-making, typography and composition. She is also very proficient in design research, interaction and user experience design. In addition to her considerable individual design and academic strengths, Chloe is always respectful of her peers and has excellent time management skills. Chloe showed her considerable organizational skills in developing the award winning “Wandr” project for my Interactivity Design class. I feel that Chloe is fully prepared to take on any challenge and would be an excellent addition to any design team.

Chloe was wonderful to work with. Collaborating and conveying ideas and watching them spring to life was rewarding. It’s important to be flexible in a creative environment and Chloe was able to find the balance between the artistic and business aspect of design.
